You'll love it if:
- You loved the first Powerwash Simulator game
- You enjoy cozy relaxing games
- You love listening to audiobooks while playing
Not for you if:
- You prefer action games
- You're not into cozy games
- You would prefer to shot demons than powerwash a house
There is nothing that calms my brain more than playing Powerwash Simulator 2 and listening to a good audiobook. When the first game came out, I was hooked almost immediately, as the repetitive nature of the game truly helped me relax after a long day and forget all my stresses.
I have no joke played the first game 3 times over, cleaning all my favorite levels and listening to so many romantacy books. This also led to an uncanny obsession with watching powerwashing TikToks and convincing myself we don’t need an actual power washer in the house.
I can not explain to you my absolute joy when I saw that the studio was developing a second game. The idea of having new levels to play and new tools to clean with had me eagerly awaiting the release. And I can also not describe my pure joy when the studio included us in the pre-release reviews by providing us with two copies of this gem of a game.
I knew this was my chance to hook my husband and turn him into a fellow Powerwash Simulator 2 enthusiast, and that is exactly what I did. As soon as we got the codes, we downloaded the game and planned a date night for the same night. We might never plan a date around cleaning our house, but you bet we would clean as many levels as possible on the first chance. And so we did.
TL; DR
Powerwash Simulator 2 is a game made for lovers of the game, who have been looking forward to using new tools and making their powerwashing experience all the more enjoyable. You will enjoy a lot of new levels, amazing new tools, and other fun additions to the game, like your trusty kitty companions following you in every level and customizing your own home base to make the game feel more like your style!
New Tools and Additions to the Game
First and foremost, Powerwash Simulator 2 now allows you to customize and decorate your very own home base. And there are cats in the game that not only chill at your home base, they also follow you along all your missions, so you can pet them on the go. How fun is that?
Powerwash Simulator 2 also comes with a plethora of new tools for you to use. The first and most important addition is the new washer equipment, which includes new Prime Vista and Urban X Max tools. These are the standard heavy-duty and professional-duty washer tools you will use all the time in the game, and just like in the previous game, you can buy a lot of different nozzles for them to use for short and long distances. The good thing is that you can purchase the upgrades very early on in the game, so you will feel like your powerwashing is improving all throughout Powerwash Simulator 2.
As you play, will you also be able to unlock brand new tools like the Pro Rize AE 300, which can help lift you so you can reach hard-to-reach areas, like a super-tall billboard? One of my personal favorite additions is the new surface cleaner, which allows you to easily clean the floors. I also used it on walls, and it worked just as well. I have found that the best thing you can do in the game is experiment with different tools for each occasion, and with the new additions, I feel like the game encourages you to do just that.
One of the most anticipated tools, though, was the new and improved soap system. In the first game, you had a limited supply of soap, which you had to purchase and use sparingly. In Powerwash Simulator 2, the soap dispenser is pretty much available at all times and offers you unlimited use from the beginning. This can really make cleaning metals and other difficult spots a breeze and save you a lot of time on the larger levels where you have a lot of ground or grimy details to clean.

Levels That Will Make You Clean Every Nook and Cranny
The new levels are fun and challenging, and while they give off the vibe of Powerwash Simulator, they are new and improved in Powerwash Simulator 2. From more standard building-type structures and vehicles to whimsical cottages in nature, you will find levels that will excite you.
With the addition of the new harness and other tools in the game, you will be able to clean new areas much more easily than before. The new levels are made with the new tools in mind so they can challenge you appropriately and make the gaming experience all the more fun.

Some Bugs Were Present in Powerwash Simulator 2
Just like many new games in the market, Powerwash Simulator 2 came with a few bugs as we started the game. This was something we especially experienced when playing co-op, compared to playing solo. The first issue was setting up the co-op option, as the game was struggling to recognize the other person trying to connect.
The second issue we came across was bugs in Powerwash Simulator 2 when picking up scaffolding and similar tools. What happened was that the item would bug on you while holding it, and wouldn’t allow you to drop it or powerwash anything else. This was a little frustrating, as we were playing coop and one of us was left to finish cleaning the level alone, as we were worried we would lose our progress if we abandoned the round.
The studio is, of course, aware of these issues and plans to fix them soon, so I’m sure this won’t be an issue for much longer. In any case, most new games come with a few bugs, and as long as they don’t affect your experience constantly, they are more than understandable.

My Personal Recommendations for a Great Powerwashing Session
There are quite a few things that can make Powerwash Simulator 2 a great game for you to enjoy. But there are certain thighs you can do, which will make the experience all the more fun.
First of all, you will need time. Powerwash Simulator 2 is not a game you will play for only 30 minutes and get it over with. I usually plan for at least hour-long sessions, as it is highly addictive and will keep you wanting to clean more and more. Arm yourself with snacks, your favorite drink of choice, and potentially a pet to cuddle in your lap.
Next, you need to choose the right audiobook or podcast for the occasion. I personally enjoy fantasy and romantasy specifically – the longer the series, the better, as you can always come back to it in a future gaming session. You might also want to pick up a true crime podcast or any other audio source, for that matter. Whatever gets you in the mood to sit back, relax, and powerwash is a good choice!
Finally, find your comfort levels so you can always go back and re-wash them when necessary. The one that did it for me in the first game was the one with the tree house, where you had to clean the underside and all the staircases leading up to the tree house complex. I have replayed that level so many times and never get bored with it.

Conclusion – More Than Just a Sequel to a Great First Game
All in all, the new Powerwash Simulator 2 is a fun game that will keep you occupied for hours on end. It is a great upgrade from the first game, which offers new tools, levels, and customization options for every player’s liking. You can easily play it by yourself or with a friend, so you can fight over who will clean which section in the levels.
I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a chill game to unwind with at the end of a long day. Not every game has to be fast-paced and challenging – sometimes you just need to take it slow and enjoy something as simple as powerwashing a cool building to unwind and forget about the problems of your day.
