Logitech G PRO Wireless League of Legends Edition Review: Summoner’s Rift in your palm

Having the audio part of the League of Legends series of peripherals from Logitech covered, it’s time to check each player’s right hand (or the left, I do not judge). The mouse and every mouse must be durable and very well constructed. So, let’s see in detail what the LoL edition of Logitech G PRO wireless has to offer:

Technical specifications

Unboxing the package, we find a beautiful blue mouse with golden details. The mouse weighs 80 grams. It is slightly lighter than the average wireless mouse (83g). Being a very light mouse, it allows you to play as much as you want with DPI. With Lightspeed technology, it is important to mention that the response delay is reduced, which is less than 10ms. Essential for competitive gaming.

DPI is configured by the next generation HERO 25k sensor. Its technology, therefore, allows the adjustment from 100 to 25,600 DPI. This makes it quite expensive and depending on the settings, as well as very sensitive. Apart from the sensitivity and quality of the sensor, another thing that makes this mouse epic is its energy consumption. It is one of the lowest we have ever seen on a wireless mouse. For rechargeable mice, the bigger the autonomy the best.

Buttons and drivers

A nice element is the 7 programmable buttons. The standard design places 2 special buttons on the right and 2 on the left of the mouse. In addition to the ease of use of the mouse even for left-handed, it gives a benefit to those who want to use more macros using their right hand. Personally, it is very convenient for me to have options with a mouse.

Every mouse component can be customized using G HUB. DPI, RGB and Macros have their own section in the software provided by Logitech. Quite a well-designed and easy-to-use UI.

RGB – Lightsync

Every gaming mouse now has RGB. Logitech is using the classic and loved illuminated G. So, the Logitech G Pro Wireless has its own lighting, keeping up with Lightsync technology.

In practice, the mouse adapts dynamically to the theme prevailing at the time. It can be the content of the screen through sampling, or with flashing lights from the music you listen and animated effects, or just a static color if you are not a fan of many changes. You can save up to 5 profiles. One for every occasion.

Other characteristics

Speaking about the mouse overall, the Logitech G PRO Wireless has a response rate of 1ms. Even with wireless use. When lighting is active, the battery can last up to 48 hours, without, it goes up to 60 hours. It has zero filtration, great acceleration and accurate tracking, which contributes to its overall performance and quality.

Finally, the mouse comes a cable for charging (and wired usage) and its USB dongle, obviously. You can connect the dongle to the charging cable if you need it to be closer to the mouse. This is preferable even if it does not have signal loss due to distance.

Conclusion

Logitech once again did a very good job. The buttons feel very nice, the body is well-made and in general the version of League of Legends in all the products of the series is one of the best themes we have seen. After all, even if you are not a League of Legends fan, you are surely a fan of Arcane series on Netflix (based on LoL).

I prefer my mice to be a little bit heavier, but that’s purely subjective. Practically, the mouse is extremely well-made and offers the latest technologies. If you are a fan of LoL and want to step up your skillshots, then the Logitech G PRO Wireless is a must have. You can get the special League of Legends Edition of Logitech G PRO Wireless from Public, at € 134.

We would like to thank Logitech G for providing the review unit we used.
